Battle of the Bulge tour 2011
Visit to Folkestone Fire Station 21/01/2011
On 21st July 2011 all the cadets were invited to Folkestone Fire Station for a tour of the station, and look at Folkestone Fire Service's equipment and to meet the firefighters. They also recieved a fire safety talk, particularly on their upcoming summer camp. The cadets enjoyed a fantastic evening, getting to see all the equipment and even trying some of it out for themselves!

Summer Battle Camp 2011
This years annual battle camp was a success and a new experience for all, including senior cadets as this year for the first time in ten years, camp was held in West Hythe, our original camp site.
We started on the Thursday setting up the area, this seemed to take ages but we soon got into the swing of things. Our American lad that stays with us soon fitted in well and we started training on Friday with a demo of what pyrotechnics can do. The weather was great until Thursday when it poured hard, whilst the cadets were on the 24 hour ex.
