Recently the unit has been accepted as a member of FINTO.
FINTO was formed in 1984 to provide a voice, and support, for the independent nautical training organisations. It tries to bring the benefits of a large organisation to the small operators and allow them to enhance the service that they are able to offer to young people. It also provides a valuable forum for the sharing of activities, facilities and experiences between members
